Robert Guttke’s Wet Nudes and Then Some
Now, ever since I started working here at the splendid Patrick’s Cabaret, I’ve heard countless stories about the somewhat-scandalous shows we’ve had.  When we say we put it all on stage, it’s the truth.  This is definitely shown in this weekend’s programming: Robert Guttke’s Wet Nudes and Then Some!
It’s exactly what it sounds like — wet nudes.  And then some.
And don’t lie, you’re intrigued!
Now, here at the Cabaret we try to not censor in any way, so we generally don’t see acts before they’re on our stage, in front of our lovely audience.  So, true to form, I have next to no idea of what’s going to be happening on Friday and Saturday.  But I’ll give you the low down of what I do know.
Nude models.  Cheese cloth.  Photography.  A shower.
This show features photography Robert John Guttke, a sculptor and photographer.  In his twenty years of work, the use of water and the human figure is a common theme.  The models will be nude with clothing elements.  He uses cheesecloth on of the human body to create an “almost gossamer spider web effect that shimmers beneath the silver rain from above.”  Excited?  So am I!
